Aurora Sound Studios was founded in 2010 by Ethan Bellweather, a passionate audio engineer with a lifelong love for music. Ethan's vision was to create a recording studio that combined cutting-edge technology with a warm, creative atmosphere, a place where artists could feel inspired and empowered to bring their musical visions to life.

Initially, the studio was a small, humble space located in a quiet corner of Burbank. Ethan poured his heart and soul into building the studio from the ground up, meticulously selecting equipment and designing the acoustics to ensure the highest possible sound quality. Word quickly spread among local musicians about the exceptional quality and personalized service offered at Aurora Sound Studios.

As the studio's reputation grew, so did its clientele. Aurora Sound Studios began attracting artists from across Los Angeles and beyond, ranging from up-and-coming indie bands to established Grammy-winning musicians. The studio's success allowed Ethan to expand its facilities, moving to its current location on Hollywood Boulevard in 2015. This larger space provided more recording rooms, a dedicated mixing suite, and a comfortable lounge area for clients to relax and collaborate.

Ethan Bellweather

Founder & Chief Engineer

Ethan's passion for audio engineering began in his childhood, tinkering with tape recorders and experimenting with sound effects. He holds a degree in Audio Engineering from the University of Southern California and has over 15 years of experience in the recording industry. Ethan's expertise spans all aspects of audio production, from recording and mixing to mastering and sound design. He is known for his meticulous attention to detail, his creative problem-solving skills, and his unwavering commitment to helping artists achieve their sonic vision.

David Chen

Senior Audio Engineer

David joined Aurora Sound Studios in 2016 and has quickly become an indispensable member of the team. He brings a wealth of experience in mixing and mastering, having worked with a diverse range of artists across various genres. David's technical expertise is matched by his artistic sensibility, allowing him to bring out the best in every recording. He is a certified Pro Tools expert and is always up-to-date on the latest audio technologies.

Maria Rodriguez

Studio Manager

Maria is the friendly face and organizational backbone of Aurora Sound Studios. She handles all aspects of studio operations, from scheduling sessions and managing client relations to overseeing equipment maintenance and ensuring a smooth and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the door. Maria has a background in music business and a passion for supporting artists. She is always happy to answer questions, provide assistance, and make sure that every client has a positive and productive experience at the studio.
