By accessing and using the Aurora Sound Studios website (aurorasoundstudios.com) and/or utilizing our recording studio services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services. These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Aurora Sound Studios, located at 6253 Hollywood Blvd, Suite 200, Los Angeles, CA 90028.

Aurora Sound Studios reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the website or services following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically for any updates or changes.

2. Use of the Website

This website is intended to provide information about Aurora Sound Studios, our services, and our equipment. You may use the website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the website in any way that violates any applicable laws or regulations, or that infringes upon the rights of others.

Regarding recordings made at Aurora Sound Studios, ownership of the master recordings will be governed by a separate agreement signed prior to the recording session. 4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aurora Sound Studios shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the website or our services, even if Aurora Sound Studios has been advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses.

Aurora Sound Studios does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the website or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. You are responsible for taking all necessary precautions to protect yourself from such risks.

In no event shall Aurora Sound Studios' total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) exceed the amount you paid to Aurora Sound Studios for the services in question or one hundred US dollars ($100), whichever is less.

We are not responsible for the loss or damage to personal belongings left at Aurora Sound Studios. Please ensure you take all your items with you upon completion of your session. While we strive to maintain a safe and secure environment, we cannot guarantee against theft or damage.

5. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you hereby consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

7. Studio Session Specific Terms

This section outlines the specific terms and conditions related to booking and utilizing Aurora Sound Studios for recording sessions, mixing, mastering, and other related services. These terms are in addition to the general terms outlined above.

• Booking and Cancellation: A deposit is required to secure your booking. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the session start time will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior will result in a refund of the deposit minus a $50 administrative fee. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
• Payment: Full payment for services rendered is due upon completion of the session, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, credit cards, and bank transfers. A late payment fee of 1.5% per month will be applied to any outstanding balance.
• Client Responsibilities: Clients are responsible for arriving on time for their scheduled sessions. Late arrivals will not be compensated for in terms of session time. Clients are also responsible for providing all necessary files, materials, and equipment (unless otherwise agreed).
• Studio Equipment: Clients are expected to treat all studio equipment with care and respect. Any damage caused by negligence or misuse will be the responsibility of the client, and the client will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement.
• Content Ownership: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client retains ownership of the recorded material. Aurora Sound Studios retains the right to use portions of the recorded material for promotional purposes, with client consent.
• Release Forms: Clients may be required to sign release forms for the use of their likeness and recorded material for promotional purposes.
• Conduct: Aurora Sound Studios maintains a professional and respectful environment. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of the session without refund.
